Cancerous man brainwashed by his MD

My suspension is the MD is set in his ways and may have even tried or read about other ideas of improving the immune system. I also suspect he relies on write ups in official Medical publications showing that these other ways do not work. There are probably write ups in the same publications that indicate immune system improvement this MD just hasn't read them yet.
The MD is telling his patient what he believes to be true because the MD has been brainwashed by his training and what he considers credible sources. (This is one possible conjecture.)
What would I say to the man?
It would probably be some sort of agreement and counter example along the lines of, "You are right to believe your doctor. At the turn of the century the best way to stop the immune system from getting worse was to use leeches. After they discovered better ways for a long time MD's were still using leeches until they learned of the better ways that other's had already found."
"Going with what your MD said, here let me show you a way that will stop your immune system from getting worse and we can prove it will stop it from getting worse by using your own body as the tester (energy testing). Once we stop it from getting worse let's see how strong we can keep it at the point where we stop it."
Take the client where they are and over deliverer. Help them stop their immune system from getting worse and at the same time build it up by giving the exercises that build the immune system but allow the client to believe it is stopping and keeping the immune system from getting worse.
After using what the MD told the client and allowing the client to experience in his body the effects we could then energy test for improvement, if we chose too because now we have more than "the authority says, I say..." we have actual testable results.
Instead of trying to get the gentleman to turn 90 to 180% consciously, simply agree with where he is and give him the energy drills that turn him in the most useful direction while consciously doing what his brainwashing is telling him. There is always more than one way to un-wash or re-wash a brain.
Of course we would have to decide if we were willing to take the time, energy and effort to do all that it takes to get this done or we could come up with stories of "why" (talk negatively) MD's, the medical profession, drug companies and others are greedy and only out for the money. How they are bad, they don't know, they should be ashamed, etc.
While the Medical community continues to do what they are comfortable with and what they belief to be true of course they are doing what they do for their own selfish reason. Just as the Alternative or Complimentary Medicine community does what we do for our own selfish reason. Both communities can come up with justifications (stories) why one is better than the other and we can work on blending the two together.
And yet, I suspect the biggest advances will be made when we are flexible enough to take where the people are and give them not only what they believe is possible but give them more.
As of yet I'm not flexible enough to get everyone on board and yet I get to keep looking for new ways to join them where they are and meet and exceed their expectations.
