(This is a model, it ain't true unless you want to use it as your truth as that is what truth is what we accept as truth.)
Everything has consciousness and everything is asking for what it needs to expand and grow (be healthy and strong).
(In this model asking is more than words, Asking = Vibrating.)
The immune system is no different and yet the immune system is a part of your totality. So while the immune system is asking for what it needs to be healthy and strong. Your totality is also asking for health and strength and also the opposite of health and strength. Whichever asking is dominate is what is being delivered as the Universe (God, Source, Higher Power, Energy whatever name for the more than human) always says "Yes" to everything so everything asked for (+/-) is always given and whatever we are a vibrational (our dominate vibration, i.e. belief and feeling) match for we receive.

What is the one thing that is common to all humans, common to all sickness, illness, disease, to all immune systems, to health and wellness?
What do all of these have in common? CELLS
Cells are involved with everything. For measurement purposes I'd like to describe cells on a continuum from weak to strong. (Strong equating with health and wellness and weak with sickness, illness, and disease.)
Using this model cancer is consider an auto-immune disease. In other words the immune system is not strong enough, it is weak and therefore cancer can grow. Cancer does not destroy the immune system per say, cancer is allowed to grow because the immune system (the cells that make up the immune system) is already weak and/or destroyed.
When the cells (not the organs or glands or the immune system) but the cells that make them up are given the micro-nutrients they require daily so they can use the macro-nutrients they require daily the cells are strong and the immune system is rebuilt and cancer and cancer treatments are no longer needed. And yes even after cancer and cancer treatments this still works as the body is a repair and rebuilding organism.
